A Fairer Wisconsin Starts with La Crosse: Thank You Friends and Allies!
On December 7, 2006 the 7 Rivers LGBT Resource Center and UW-L's Eagle Equity will sponsor a celebration to thank you and other La Crosse county residents for standing tall against injustice. Your strength in opposing the constitutional amendment banning civil unions and same-sex marriage meant that La Crosse county had the second highest "no" vote in Wisconsin, right behind Dane county. Jennifer Shilling, Rachel Gundersen, and John Medinger will speak briefly at 7:00 p.m. Read more about the celebration here.
